The Healthy Track and KidShape programs were created by a team of health professionals committed to improving the health and wellness of youth and their families. Several of these professionals designed the original KidShape program and have worked with KidShape since 1995. We are grateful for the time and energy they spent on these programs.
Paul Bosley has been an avid fitness enthusiast since his teenage years which led him to pursue a lifetime of working as a professional in the fitness industry. As a youth, Paul was an avid surfer, downhill skier and was the President of his college Rugby Club. After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Health Science & Recreation, Paul has worked 42 years consecutively in the fitness industry as the operating partner of gym chains including Bally’s Holiday Health, Gold’s Gym and Q The Sports Clubs. Paul launched healthclubexperts.com 12 years ago to finance health clubs nationally. Paul is a speaker at IHRSA and Club Industry trade shows and a contributing writer to Club Industry. Paul is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Accounting with a concentration in Business Valuation at Florida Atlantic University. Paul is a volunteer as a Business Counselor for SCORE, a division of the Small Business Administration of the US Federal Government.
Paul launched Champions Youth Fitness 5 years ago to create a solution to our youth obesity crisis. Over his adult life, Paul has trained & watched his diet to successfully complete 21 marathons, trail runs, half marathons and triathlons to keep fit as a senior. Paul believes that our health is our most prized possession and he has practiced what he preaches for his entire lifetime!
Saeb Jannoun is the President of Living 360 LLC which, deals in overall health and wellness. The company publishes and administers the KidShape 2.0 nutrition and behavioral modification program for children and their parents. He has pursued several projects dedicated to the health, wellness and fitness industries. For the past ten years, he has maintained a cardio vascular imaging and diagnostic company operating in several states.
Christiane Wert Rivard, MPH, RD
Christiane Wert Rivard, MPH, RD, is a registered dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of California at Los Angeles. She has over 15 years of experience in developing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive childhood obesity programs, including the original KidShape program, with equal focus on diet, physical activity and behavior change.
Beth Braun, PhD
Beth Braun, PhD, has worked with curriculum development and implementation of pediatric weight management programs, including the original KidShape and a national pediatric weight loss camp, since 1995. She is in private practice in Los Angeles, specializing in children and families dealing with weight issues as well as chronic illnesses. Dr. Braun has been featured in the national media, including the Oprah Winfrey show, discussing childhood obesity.
John Rutigliano earned a Masters Degree with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and doctoral studies in Applied Physiology at Teachers College, Columbia University. He was an all-conference collegiate baseball player as an undergraduate student and a Graduate Fellow in The Laboratory of Applied Physiology and Exercise for his Graduate studies and teaching. His career includes the design, development and distribution of child/youth exercise equipment with a self published manual for his BEE-FIT programs. Also, he’s published a college level textbook with McGraw Hill desktop publishing series while teaching and developing college/community wellness centers. He’s formerly certified by The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Rehabilitative Program Director and Exercise Specialist for clinical populations and a Health Fitness Director for the fitness industry. He functioned as Certification Director for ACSM and was a national committee member for Certification development. His career spans 35 years’ designing, developing and consulting with fitness and wellness centers for programs and equipment. Youth conditioning and training for all populations and medical conditions are his speciality.
Chef Erin Tyler
Chef Erin has over 30 years of culinary education and experience. After graduating in 1995, from the 1st Bachelors Program at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, she went on to develop the culinary program for the nation's first private High School for overweight teens. In addition to the high school, Chef Erin created the culinary program for their weight loss camps that are located worldwide. During that time she was also a culinary educator, teaching over 1,000 young adults and children essential cooking skills and how to create menus and recipes to use throughout their lifetime. Chef Erin recently designed and has now developed the KidShape 2.0 cooking program, proving how beneficial culinary skills and education are to the success of any healthy lifestyle and weight loss program.
Alex Heintz earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Florida Atlantic University in 2013. During his time with FAU, Alex participated and placed in multiple state and local equity analysis and business plan competitions, including the presentation of Champion's Youth Fitness during the final round of FAU's state-wide business plan competition. Since 2013, Alex has worked on a healthcare industry Mergers and Acquisitions team working with hospital-based physician practices on business valuation, legal and operational due diligence matters.
Christy Bosley, MS, graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2012 with a bachelor’s in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. She then graduated from FAU in 2014 with a Masters in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, specializing in Exercise Physiology. Christy has been an athlete her entire life, she has competed in lacrosse, field hockey, and swimming, and was selected to be a New England Class D Allstar athlete in girls lacrosse in 2007. Christy has worked with people of all ages and special modifications in both training and rehab settings. She also worked at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis for over 3 years, helping train individuals with spinal cord injuries and aid in conducting research on how exercise physiologically improves people with spinal cord injuries. Christy is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
